Katherine Bahamonde Monasebian is a well-rounded general manager and executive leader, with experience spanning both large-scale and early-stage companies, including a range of private equity-backed and owner-led companies. She brings deep expertise in the digital marketplace, omnichannel business strategies and brand development.
In Katherine’s current role leading marketing and e-commerce at ALEX AND ANI, she’s charged with further developing the brand in the market, growing the e-commerce channel, evolving the digital strategy, and developing integrated marketing strategies that fuel profitable sales growth. Prior to ALEX AND ANI, Katherine had a career marked by accelerated business transformation and growth at global lifestyle brands C. Wonder, Juicy Couture and lululemon athletica, building on a strong strategic planning and finance foundation established at large global corporations including PepsiCo and Citigroup. Complementing Katherine’s record of executive success, she serves as president of the board of directors of the Harvard Business School Club of New York, a 100-year-old organization and the largest global network of HBS alumni worldwide.
Katherine has also received several esteemed industry commendations, including Top Women in Cross-Channel Retail from Retail Online Integration magazine (rebranded to Total Retail) in 2013, Top 50 Women in Brand Marketing from Brand Innovators in 2014, and Luxury Women to Watch from Luxury Daily in 2016. Katherine earned her Master’s of Business Administration from Harvard Business School and her undergraduate degree from Harvard University, graduating with honors. She’s an avid runner and lives in New York City with her husband and daughter.
