Cindy is a transformational, visionary and innovative leader with deep expertise in digital and catalog marketing, retail store traffic generation, and CRM analytics. Cindy has held senior level positions at Performance Bicycle, Exclusively Weddings, The Vermont Country Store, Ross-Simons, eZiba.com, L.L. Bean, Appleseeds, J.Jill and Inc. Magazine.

Cindy is the Founder and CEO of SHINE Strategy, a consulting company focused on providing road maps to optimize sales and profits as a CMO for hire. SHINE has an impressive brand list including National Geographic, Boden USA, Annie Selke, Orvis, Brooks Brothers, Vera Bradley, SmartPak, Orchard Brands, The Boston Globe, PacSun and Hanes Brands.

Cindy led NEMOA (National Etailing and Mailing Organization of America) as president from 2012-2014, overseeing its largest growth period for conference attendance, membership and sponsorship. She was also on the board for over 12 years.

Cindy is active in the industry as a speaker and advisor. She serves as an advisory board member for Women in Retail Leadership Circle and led the Retail Lab at Content Marketing World’s annual conference in 2015 and 2016. She was also named Total Retail’s Top Women in Cross-Channel Retail in 2011.
